I love shipping memes... They're my favorites... I remember a couple of years ago doing the 30 days shipping meme and having so much fun coming up with the answers and the layouts of the posts... I often thought about bringing it back ad do it again since my some of my answers changed

I saw a gifs-set on tumblr the other day from the film My Girl and it made me think that Vada/Thomas is probably one my first ships from long before I knew what shipping was.

I have a story connected to this film. One time when I was in Copenhagen, Denmark with my parents as a kid, I ran away from my parents. I had gotten a new doll and just wanted to go back to the hotel to play. I didn't want to walk around town doing whatever. And while we were at a cafe, I said I was going to walk to the hotel. My parents didn't believe me, they thought I just stepped around the corner. I didn't! They started looking for me obviously, and I got scared eventually and stopped walking. People saw me crying and two ladies took care of me, and dad found me. When we was on the boat traveling back to Norway later that evening, my mum took me to see My Girl. It was the two of us and another girl with her mum. Mum was still upset and scared over me disapairing, and as you know, it's a film that can easily bring one to tears. And mum cried and cried, and so did the other mum. I remember me and the other girl just looking at each, not saying a word! I just wanted to disapair in a black hole, and my mum I am sure was thinking

I loved your response about RPF, as you know, one day I had no particular feelings about RPF and then the next day it became my main fandom!! But I love that you consider it "not dramatic enough" to ship things, lol
also, "you can ship whatever you want but not Ted/Robin"... I'm still so glad I never watched that last season!
