The Lizzie Bennet Diaries Marathon
Okay, I know what you are thinking "Why it took you so bloody long?!" But - in my defense - I have to say I don't have access to YouTube on the boat (Damn you S. the ETO!!!) and live at Starbucks just because of the (awesome coffee) the free wi-fi it's not an option... Luckily now the boat is outside the water for some painting so - because of... I don't know - we now live in crew apartments where we have wi-fi and our ETO cannot come here and take YouTube away from us!!!
So yesterday I was off and I decided to FINALLY watch this web series! And I LOVED it! Yes, I spent my saturday morning + afternoon watching the show and I regret nothing!
I thought also to make a top 3 moment... Unfortunately Darcy doesn't have a lot of camera time... :(

Ep 060 - Are You Kidding Me?
Darcy's confession... Usually my favorite scene but here it gets the bronze medal... Maybe was the atmosphere... Maybe Lizzie wasn't angry enough... Maybe Darcy wasn't showing enough pride... I don't know. I loved the scene but it doesn't get the silver or the gold... Not this time...
Darcy: I need to speak with you.
Lizzie: This really isn't a good time.
Darcy: Are you alright?
Lizzie: I'm not, actually. This is the worst possible time you could be doing this!
Darcy: I'm sorry, but the last few months have been crazy. I've been hiding something from you that I shouldn't have and that I can't anymore. I need to admit something to you. Please, sit.
Lizzie: Well, this should be good.
Darcy: You're filming.
Lizzie: If you've got something to say to me, you say it here and now.
Darcy: I didn't come to Collins & Collins to monitor corporate progress, I came here to see you.
Lizzie: Okay.
Darcy: Two parts of me have been at war.nYour odd family, your financial troubles... You're in a different world from me. People expect me to travel in certain circles, and I do respect the wishes of my family, but not today. I've been fighting against this for months now but Lizzie Bennet, I'm in love with you. I- I can't believe it either, that my heart could completely overwhelm my judgment.
Lizzie: I hope that your judgement can be some solace in your rejection because those feelings are not mutual.
Darcy: Are you rejecting me?
Lizzie: Does that surprise you?
Darcy: May I ask why?
Lizzie: May I ask why you're even here, in spite of your social class, the wishes of your family and your own better judgment?
Darcy: That was badly put, but that's the world we live in. You can't deny it, social classes are a real thing. People who think otherwise live in a fantasy.
Lizzie: And that's just the beginning of a long list of reasons why I'm rejecting you.
Darcy: Such as?
Lizzie: Such as - the nicest thing you've ever said about me was that I was decent enough. You act like you'd rather have a hernia repair than be around me, you have a checklist for what makes an accomplished woman, and even don't get me started on what you did to Jane.
Darcy: What about Jane?
Lizzie: You took the heart of my sister, the kindest soul on the planet, and tore it in half.
Darcy: I didn't mean-
Lizzie: And why did you do it, Darcy? Does causing pain to those of us of a lower social standing give you joy?
Darcy: No. I- I simply doubted her long-term faith in the relationship. I watched her dealings with other men. At your local bar, that night Bing was away, she was being very social.
Lizzie: That's because she's nice, have you not met Jane?
Darcy: And what about at his own birthday, her indiscretions?
Lizzie: Indiscretions?
Darcy: While he was entertaining his guests, she was engaging with another man, I saw it with my own eyes.
Lizzie: That's a lie.
Darcy: It was then clear to me that her feelings for him were fleeting and that she never truly cared for him as he did for her.
Lizzie: Are you kidding me?!
Darcy: From that point on I never believed that her feelings for him were any more than simply her kindness. I was protecting him.
Lizzie: Protecting him? Or protecting his wealth? Did you really think Jane was dating Bing for the money?
Darcy: It was made pretty clear to me that this would be an advantageous relationship for her.
Lizzie: By Jane?
Darcy: No, but by her family. Your family.
Lizzie: My family?!
Darcy: Your energetic younger sister and especially your mother. Every discussion, every moment I observed her she would blabber about Jane and Bing until it finally consumed her life. I'm sorry. I never... thought of you that way.
Lizzie: And what about George Wickham?
Darcy: What about him?
Lizzie: What imaginary act of friendship caused you to do what you did to him?
Darcy: You seem unnervingly interested in his concerns.
Lizzie: He told me of his struggle.
Darcy: Oh yeah, his life has been quite a struggle.
Lizzie: You destroyed his life and then make jokes about it.
Darcy: So this is what you think of me?Thank you for explaining all to me so eloquently.
Lizzie: And thank you for proving time and time again that your arrogance, pride and selfishness make you the last man in the world I could ever fall in love with.
Darcy: I'm sorry to have caused you so much pain. I should've acted differently. I was unaware of your feelings towards me.
Lizzie: You were unaware? Then why don't you watch my videos?!

This scene was so cute... First with Lizzie teasing him about the 6 or 7 days, then the truth about how it started and then the future talk... I admit when he took her hand I was ready to see the ring coming out of his sleeve xD

And the winner is... THE FRIGGING AWESOME KISS (followed by all the cuteness and 2 other kisses)!!! I love these two! I love them SO MUCH!!! I might use more then 10 exclamation points like Lydia because in this case they are kind of needed!(!!!!!!!!!)

Darcy: When I heard what you said to Caroline about... My life being my choice and your life being yours… It got my hopes up again. Then I didn't know if that was just because of what you had found out…
Lizzie: I get it... confusing. God, for two such smart people, we can certainly act like idiots, can’t we?
Darcy: One might even say it’s our forte.
Lizzie: Well, let me make things as clear as possible. William Darcy, I don't want to be just friends. And I don’t want to be with you because I’m grateful. I want to be with you because of you. Got it?
I loved the show and it deserved its Emmy! Now another web series started. Emma Approved. I liked JA's Emma. I liked the BBC movie as well... I started the first two episodes of the web series and the idea is pretty good but I don't like the actress so much. I am used to the beautiful Bennet' sisters now... High five to the guy/girl in charge of the casting! BRAV-O/A :)
