So it is finally hitting me that this semester is halfway over. Next week is midsemester break. I am planning on going with Monica and Jessie to Illinois, spending a few days in Chicago and a few more in Decatur. The lack of clear space on my desk is slowly driving me crazy. Why is school always so busy? I wish I had more time to just ENJOY it. Or if I didn't have this stupid distribution requirement to devote time to. It's only the third week of school and I feel like I've done nothing but work almost straight through these past weeks. I hardly have time to do anything other than reading and preparing presentations. Exciting plans this weekend! I'm going home. Superbowl Sunday! I have a lot of homework to do already. Can you believe I've already taken a quiz and have to write a 2-page paper this weekend? I've been back at MHC since Sunday night. I've been working with Student Programs and the job is going really well, I like it. I'm going to Boston tomorrow for the job. I get paid travel time. But I'm not really sure what I'm going to do in Boston because I have like no money. But it might be cool to just sit around and read a book. Or window shop ( Read more... ) -
i'm on fire...
On my way out from my last Asteroids class, on my way to work at the observatory, I saw a huge shooting star! So I made a wish. Apparently there's a meteor shower tonight.
And we saw Saturn through the telescope.
And I ate a huge amount of Ben & Jerry's. My favorite. mmm...it'd been too long.
So all in all it was a good night. Busy. But good.
