Well...I'd think a child molester should have a harsher punishment than community service and parole.

Secondly...and of course I am biased...knitting as a punishment? XD

Aside from my horrific disgust that you can be sentenced with community service for molesting children, that rather makes sense. I'd also like to know what is wrong with that child's mother since it says she agreed to this. And what is this about "disposing of" cases?

Sorry, I'm getting all worked up about every other part of that article.

Community service should be for people who committed crimes accidentally, IMO. (E.g. I ran over a bird. Or I hurt someone accidentally, although I don't know if these are actually crimes...)

Yeah, like it's very injurious to a man's prestige if he has to knit -- as injurious to the girl he molested. *rolls eyes*
