It's not the mail really. I was supposed to pick mine up in person. I showed up when I was supposed to but the diploma did not. :P

If your name starts with a J and you get a diploma in Latin would your name on it be Iulus instead of Julius? Or the like?

No. I don't even think they're allowed to do that. Your actual name has to appear on it somewhere since it is an official document. So Julius would still be Julius.
