Well, maybe. It looks highly probable that I'll be headed to Portland the week of Aug 1st. There's a big NDE conference which my company thinks it'll be useful for me to attend. I don't know how I conned them into it, but it worked ( Read more... )

Thanks for the good thoughts, but it is being more complicated than just the airline ticket (though ticket prices are REALLY high right now). I have a new job I would have to take off from, I'd have to put the kids at my Mom's for the week (and it isn't being a good week for her), and it would be a lot of expense for a really small amount of time. I'd rather come out when the timing was a bit better. I do appreciate the sentiment though!
