[There are an awful lot of Italian students housed in this school, aren't there? So many that it shouldn't be uncommon to see tidbits of Italian here and there, to hear it in passing conversations. It's almost a little sad for the Japanese students who can't understand it, since it's such a fine language.

But, maybe it's for the best they don't-

Feeling generous and friendly enough today he picks it up.

It wasn't his fault that the note unfolded and he noticed his native language scribbles on it.]
