It felt reallyt good being back at Primarchs again tonight. A month break over Christmas worked well. We had a decent number of people turn out and lots of Warhammer and Magic being played.

As expected I lost my Warhammer match but not as I thought I would. Good game though.

How did the game go?

For me badly. Highlights:

* Knights ran into a swamp and none of them emerged.
* I forced Mulch's elves out of the tower but did it on my turn so he just moved another unit in on his.
* Mulch cast a comet spell from Lore of Heavens that clipped the tower and took out all but two of the unit in it as well has killing 3 of mine nearby.

Was a good game but a mix of bad choices, forgetting stuff and poor dice rolls didn't help.

1st point - Ah, that is a problem. Which type of swamp. You know you don't take dangerous unless you march out?
2nd point - Why couldn't you consolidate into the tower, was it a non-infantry unit that you attacked with?
3rd point - yes I knew that he was taking that option. A mad strategy, however clearly highly damaging.

1. I was taking a risk or they wouldn't have got to anyone. It was the one that gives a regen save. Still didn't help.

2. I read the tower rules during dinner. You can only enter the tower in your movement phase.

3. It was a good option.
