I really hated seeing everyone wearing red and pink and holding flowers and bears because it's sad to think about how they expected gifts, how they wanted them more than they liked them. I like it better when there are no expectations and no room for disapointment, but it seems like these days everyone expects something

I agree. Sucks that you were stuck in school all day having to watch perky girls carry around a bunch of balloons twice their size and then find somewhere to stick them in the classroom so they aren't in the way. Tthe balloons and flower junk make the hallways just that much more crowded.
Bye the way, are you selling girl scout cookies this year? Do you have any boxes left? Mint and chocolate peanut butter, perhaps? Good. Put some aside for me so I can buy them when I get home. ;)
