The only thing worse would have been if Mitch had died while trying to rescue a lost or straggling baby meerkat. Of course, it could still happen. Are we all masochists who watch this show?

Yes, "Meerkat Manor." I just started watching this season and I can't figure out why the appeal is so strong. I know I can't resist anything cute, but going into every show knowing that I will probably see at least one cute thing die seems a bit masochistic. And what about everyone else who watches the show?
