Actual conversations at the grocery store

So on some days I get so starved for human contact that I strike up conversations with total strangers at the grocery store; this has been my way to replace college as my primary social outlet.

Although, you have to keep the conversations about groceries and under 30 seconds, or you tend to make people nervous.

Ha! That's awesome.

It's been awhile since I've talked to random strangers in the grocery store (or anywhere). Oh wait, does the bookstore count?

And thanks for clarifying the difference b/n condensed and evaporated milk. I can never remember myself...not that I do a lot of baking.

Yea I didn't know about the condensed vs evaporated debate myself. Thanks for the info. Does this mean you didn't visit you mom for Turkey day?

Naw, I had sushi for Thanksgiving but I think I might visit my mom and dad the first week in December when the plane tickets are really cheap, it's only like 230$ for a round trip ticket to Detroit the first week in December and 900$ the third week in December, go figure.

I saw Shayna and Steven last week at the Noc Noc, they moved out of my building and into a nicer place so I'm going to see them even less now, but their store is going really really well.

How have you been doing? Is Texas going ok? What are your plans?

A carcinogen? That's awesome.

If I had not laughed immediately, I would have been half-tempted to get her worked up over salmon greenhouse emissions, too.
