I have to say that that was the very first case of violent rape of an adult man by a woman (presumably without the man being penetrated) that I have ever read.
Well - I can read this one pretty well between the lines.
It sounds like they hired two strippers, who were not impressed by the football player attitudes and called pimp/boyfriend - they then made THEM strip (the 'sexual assault") before binding and robbing them.
The reason why you aren't seeing that in American newspapers, is because it's crap. Russell Means is NOT the current leader of ANY Of the Sioux (it's funny in a way that he is having the Lakota Sioux secede when he, in fact, is an Oglala Sioux.) He has no authority to make this declaration. While he is probably the best known AIM activist, it isn't 'cause he's the most liked, most popular, or best. Let's see, he has run for presidency of the Oglala 3 times, and lost. One of those times, he sued in federal court over the loss. He was also arrested and charged with domestic violence on Navajo land...and sued in federal court saying that the Navajo weren't sovereign, and thus didn't have jurisdiction to impose penalty on him. He lost, on ever level. The largest Indian newspaper in the country gave him a spot in their 2007 Hall of Shame for this stunt, 'cause that's what it is. It's a publicity stunt.

But it's still a great headline.
