...and the only reason to buy one of those right now is if you are an environment buff, cause even with gas prices as they are right now, you still wont spend enough money on gas to make the extra cost of a hybrid over a similar sized gas vehicle worth it quite yet.

When gas goes up to European levels ($5 - $6/gallon)it will be different.

For me it isn't all about fuel economy; that's a big part of it, and I realize that the extra cost isn't quite proportional to the savings just yet. I'm more intersted in leaving a smaller environmental footprint. And yeah, frankly, I'm a little afraid of Peak Oil happening now or in the near future. I'd like to be prepared.

Honestly it's a brand-new ubergeek toy; one I've wanted for a long time, to boot. Oh, and I plan on keeping the Revenge. I just can't rely on it as a daily driver. You can't get rid of me that easily.
