Funny thing is, Hope only knows him as Doctor Xavier-- and he got an invite for the school that's being built, which is nice. Public school in SP? Full of idiots. =\

Well, they met under the mistletoe fiasco, instantly obsessed with each other. Still, they remained cordial and got to know each other during that time. He still holds her in high regards. The spell might have worn off, but he doesn't quite know that.

Tifa's been teaching Hope self-defense since... well, pretty much ever since he's arrived in Siren's Port. She's patient and caring, and they acted as extras in a zombie movie together, and rescued Vanille from the cultists together. She's... he's starting to grow extremely fond, actually. Even if it's just because she seems to genuinely care, and he misses that a lot.
Abraham van Helsing ★★
Professor~~ They talked by chance during the anniversary event where everyone was really happy, and then later on when Hope was complaining about school and Professor Helsing volunteered to tutor him, and it took him a month to take him up on that offer, but he did. And it was one of his best decisions here.
Ahiru ★★
They've talked lots, and Ahiru's definitely sweet and innocent and cares about people. They might not always agree on stuff, but mostly Hope thinks she's naive (look who's talking) and isn't in any hurry to disillusion her.
Anna Milton ★★
They were both killed by Sandor Cohen... and while it seems like a strange place to start CR, it worked. Anna's also get some powers that seem like they're in need of control, in Hope's opinion seeing as he tends to get injured around her. But it doesn't mean she's not a good person, and he'd still spend time with her anyway.
Harry Dresden ★★
Harry's cool and casual about things, and he helps that Hope managed to 'con' (PFFFT) chocolate from of him. And he has a giant dog! And he's a wizard, which is really cool by itself, and he helps people. What's not to like?
Sunny Gurlukovich-Emmerich ★★
She's so sweet and kind and Hope's always had a soft spot for kids and with the people taking care of her before gone, he's worried about her and he's definitely going to go out of his way to make sure she's okay and happy whenever he can.
Toboe ★★
They talked about the weather and if ponds froze over and their lack of understanding about things. Oh, and the puppy. ♥ There's something... different about Toboe, but Hope's not going to ask because... well, having a guy friend around his age not into posturing and being a stupid teenager was nice.
Grell Sutcliffe ★
Oh, boy. What a mixed bag. While Hope is wary enough of him, Grell also volunteered to give everyone Christmas cards so Hope's willing to give him a chance like with Ivy. Too bad he doesn't know the cards were just a ploy to get addresses.
Joe Fieldman (Replica Riku) ★
While he doesn't know the other very well, Hope knows that Joe knows a lot of people... and he talked to Hope in the very beginning when he was confused, and offered to help various times even if Hope never took him up on it.
Kairi ★
They met at the bonfire where they sat and talked about friends, and fate. While he's not ready to actually say anything about himself, talking with her was nice and she seems to care for her friends a lot.
Yaha ★
Despite being warned that he's a criminal and murderer, Yaha knew and apparently cared for Vanille enough to have adopted her like a daughter. And he knows Snow, and Hope really wants to find out how. He also actually seems concerned about Hope's well-being, which... he soaks up like a sponge, completely blind to other people who really care about him.

They never even talked. But with the events concerning April Fools, Hope's pretty sure he never wants to talk to that guy, especially seeing as Hope managed to make a fool out of himself while Jokerized. So much for all that hard work trying to get people to take him seriously and not treat him like a kid.
Sander Cohen ☠☠☠
PLASTER KILLER. Although Hope doesn't remember it, he was killed by Sander Cohen and so he's got a healthy dose of fear, anger, and resentment over that. He's not going to approach the man about it, but he's definitely going to avoid and sulk about it.

Hope's always looked up to Light, and nothing would ever convince him that she's anything other than amazing because to him she's dedicated, caring, and strong. He constantly seeks approval from her, wanting to grow up to be able to protect her, even if he knows that she doesn't need to be protected.
Oerba Dia Vanille ★★★★
He will not hesitate to defend Vanille on just about anything- she's sweet, kind, and happy in a way he knew his mom always wished he'd be (she must have wanted a girl) and she was the only person who cared when his mother died, and encouraged him (even if it was into danger). He trusts her to both lead him into danger, and out of it.
Oerba Yun Fang ★★★★
While not as close to Fang as everyone else, he's fought with her in countless fights and she cares for her companions deeply, and Hope would trust her not only with his life, but to actually put the well-being of those she cared about over the fate of the world.
Snow Villiers ★★★★
Their relationship might have started rocky (putting it lightly!) but Hope's come to rely on Snow a lot as well. The older man's steadfast presence means that everything's going to be okay, even if Hope will crack a few jokes at Snow's expense when he does feel like joking. (It just means he's comfortable enough to joke with you!)
Castiel ★★
He has a duckling! And they talked about names, and he gets that Castiel is somewhat awkward so he's fine around him because, hey, someone more awkward than he is! But he seems to have family here and fitting in well, so... less concerned.
Lily Baskerville ★★
She's sweet and adorable, and Hope's actively concerned for Lily's well-being especially after one of the people who was caring for her left the island. Just her presence makes him think that maybe this place isn't so bad after all.
Poison Ivy ★★
Okay, so the first time he heard her over the NV, she was angry and he hadn't wanted to speak up, but after events with the Core and she offered to take in the kids, he was forced to re-evaluate his opinion on her. He's asked her for help on growing flowers, and she's been nothing but patient and nice to him.
Seth Nightroad ★★
She's been nothing but supportive the entire way through-- from when they first met to when he was just complaining about school-- he knows that she heals faster and can take care of herself, but with the way bad things seem to happen to her, he still worries a lot about her.
Charles Xavier ★
Seems caring, is a doctor, and has a family in Siren's Port. To be quite honest, Hope's a little jealous about him having family here and how he seems content to stay, but he's not letting that color his views of the man, especially when he's as kind as he is.
Death ★
He only knows her as Didi and that she knows him even if he didn't know her, and that she's the owner of SS.Kahve where he now works (barista ftw?)- but she's nice and easy-going and quite friendly to everyone so just talking to her was a nice change from the gloom of SP.
Tohru Adachi ★
It was just the way he pretended to be Santa and went with the festivities over the NV that caught Hope's attention. And he's a detective and... well, there's something unnerving about he asks about Hope's abilities (but then, it could just be that Hope can't seem to get the joke), but he's more than willing to talk to the other man.
Yamamoto Takashi ★
They still don't know each other's names! But they've talked a few times and they're about the same age, and Yamamoto's friendly and interesting and doesn't push for information and there's just something calming about the cheerful boy that makes Hope feel better just talking to him.
