awesome, the weird thing is, i started wathcing the movie first, before watching the drama.
nowadays, whenever i watch them in other dramas, i realised/cant help realising how they've grown in all possible ways...

omg you... i knew ningen shikkaku was that kinki kids drama but i didn't know that it's about "raising unsettling questions about the central qualities of being human." vengeance, twisted love and complex affections within a bully?! no wonder you feel like you need some crack. it sounds awesome but i'll be brave enough to watch these; they mess with my mind too much. especially after the ordeal that is last friends, ew. don't watch that if you haven't.

You'd think that was all it's about, considering that's already enough heavy subject matter to be going with for a j-drama, but there's even more. ;___; I'd recommend it to you, if you ever feel in the mood to give yourself a good pummeling. Once you ignore its datedness (being made in the mid-90s), it's a barrage of sensation: foreboding and helplessness and general "askdjsdkf" because you know there isn't going to be a happy ending for anyone.
On a completely different note, it also features the much-famed scene in which the then-fifteen-year-old KinKi Kids share their first on-screen kiss with each other. Which while sounding squeetastic, is actually kind of creepy in its j-drama context.
I didn't watch Last Friends, how is it? :/ AND HAVE YOU STARTED WATCHING THE QUIZ SHOW? Like, it's only been the first episode and ALREADY I AM AMAZED BY YOKO'S SMIRKITY-SMIRK BISHIENESS. AND OF COURSE SHO IS SHO. ♥ ♥

it's actually a drama series with two movies, called kisarazu cat's eye. you know, i made my friend watch akihabara@deep and then, kisarazu. he enjoyed akihabara@deep, but thought kisarazu was just total crack. YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT.

Was it just me or did Akibahara@Deep go all depressing in the middle AND THEN STRAIGHT BACK TO CRAZY AGAIN? XDD
