My grandma passed away yesterday, on my father's side. She was going to turn 78 in a couple of weeks. She went into the hospital this past Thursday, and just went downhill. =+( I was able to spend all day Friday with her in the hospital, which I was glad to be able to do.

Calling hours are tomorrow in Penn Yan, and then the funeral is on

I took my first sick day of the year today. Though, I am not really sick . . . the worst wrong with me at the moment is probably some grossly cracked lips which are taking their sweet, painful time healing. Well, I survived the Halloween celebrations in school on Friday. My room was packed with hyper kids and their parents . . . it was a ZOO. I was at school until around 4:00 PM pm Friday just trying to clean up and prep a bit for this coming week. I still have to write all of my lesson plans though today. It has been great to have Mark's help this weekend with our apartment. We spent the entire day out and about yesterday shopping and working on things for our apartment. Oh my gosh . . . I am soooooooo tired and soooo achey. Operation, Make the Apartment Look Like a Lived in Home, is in full swing! I found a really nice purplish-eggplant colored comforter for our bed that matches the new lavender sheets I bought.
