I like reading other people's bucket lists: it makes me get more ideas for my own. XD
Ooo, I think I can help on the German! I'm taking German this semester, and my teacher is just awesome. XD
Du hast einen Vogel = can mean literally 'You have a bird' or it can mean 'You're crazy'. Du spinnst also means the same as 'You're crazy'.
Halt's Maul = Shut your mouth!
Geh Weg = Go Away
Leck mich am Arsch = ...take a wild guess.
Stinktier = Skunk
Katzchen = Kitten
Krankenwagon = ambulance (this is my favorite German word at the moment, lol)
Tut Mir Leid = I'm so sorry!
Kuh-Umschmeissen = Cow Tipping (the Deutsch Wiki entry said it wasn't sure if it was real or just an American urban legend, which I thought was hilarious XD)
Etwas = something ("Hey, say something in German!" "Etwas." "Cool! What's it mean?" "Something."
One word like 'es' won't really change the meaning, so you do know it, and if you tried it on someone who speaks German, they will know what you mean, and will probably just be happy that you're trying.
