It's Isis' first birthday! She marked the occasion by learning to jump onto the refrigerator and knock down her entire stash of fur mice & toys while i was at work.

...such a good kitty.

Indie, my blackbear hamster, passed away yesterday afternoon. I went in to say hello to him around 3 o'clock and he was breathing very quickly. I wrapped him in a soft, dry washcloth and held him on my lap for the next 2 hours. He died around 5. He seemed calm & peaceful.
