a sad day

I had my old guy Dib put to sleep this morning. He stopped swallowing on his own when I was force feeding him, and last night I'm afriad he might have inhaled some food. He was barely conscious, and coudn't really move. I think he was ready to pass on, and I didn't want him to suffer anymore

thanks hon, I appreciate the gesture. However, I'll be kept quite busy tonight (I guess the distraction is a good thing) because I'll be taking care of my friend's sister's three kids while my friend has her labor induced (she's 9 days overdue and showing no signs of going into labor-eep!). so, lots of small feet in my place tonight.

we're gonna try to get the cage sandblasted ASAP too. sorry we haven['t done it yet, but things have been kind of hectic. :(

And the distraction is probably a good thing. If you want, I can see about getting that one picture of Dib printed (The one where he's looking up at my camera) if you want it. I'm going to miss him too *hugs again*

It's never a fun thing to put an animal to sleep. I had to do it a couple times. :(

Aw, I'm so sorry to hear that Amber. I wish there was something I could do, but I know there isn't. Good he's not in pain, or anything terrible like that now.
