We are already deep into the previously mentioned process of stupidity being bred. However, we do have a serious weapon against it, but it goes against our instinctive desire for “success;” which really is simply only longing to be accepted. This weapon is to manipulate the environment, not the people, as implicated above. When we can create a society/environment for future generations that encourages us to not pick on that geek when you are 8 ( :P ) then we have secured a successful and meaningful future for the human race. Our mass media infrastructure needs to be torn down and rebuilt from the ground up. Screw government and conglomerate corporations tainting and corrupting the message that should be pure and unbiased. We need many small independent sources of varying views that do one simple thing: consider the public a destination of information, not a product to sell to advertisers. No glorification or dramatization. Straight facts; no twists. Even with such a system, our society needs to be encouraged to get out and
