Have allegedly committed fic. I've had bunnies a-plenty ever since I joined the Rayne-ship and one of them had me go as far as committing pen to paper (and subsequently fingers to keyboard). Thing is, I'm not sure about it. I'm not so hot with the humour, which is a big part of the Firefly fandom. And I just happen to prefer the two

Dude, I'd be responding the same way River did if I had seen that! And adding the fact that he looked concerned for her was a nice touch. *smooshes Jayne*

I always thought it'd be nice for River to take the spare bunk after the BDM too BTW (though technically Zoe's bunk is inbetween Jayne's and the spare one, but that doesn't really matter).

I loved your description of River and Jayne's relationship post BDM, Jayne's pragmatic revision of his attitude towards her and River's understanding of his previous motivations and her ultimate forgiveness. Lovely :)

And the highlight of this wondeful piece of fic: the Jayne sexiness. Guh! You just can't go wrong with a fabulously detailed description of our favorite sexy merc. Plus, any story that includes mention of his 'happy trail' are an A+ in book :)
