Tonite was the first year anniversary of the service bar, a bar downtown just for ppl in the service industry, which rox. they had a keg of free bud lt and a pool for like eighty bux for when it would run out, and red-headed sluts for a dollar. rockin ( Read more... )

You have to present like a pay stub to get your membership card. You walk in with a self-concious smile on your face, and the bartender eyes you and asks for I.D. and you present your liscense to show you're 21 and then they give the lil finger wiggle that means, "And your *other* id..." and you present your pay stub and grin sheepishly and then they fill out your shit and you pay fifteen dollars ( ... )

Fifteen bucks! omg. But is that entirely going towards your tab? Like they want to make sure you spend $15 that night? That's not SO bad...but still if everyone pays that much...I don't know. I've had cheaper bar nights.
Is EZ street available at stores or do you only see it at bars?

oh no no, the fifteen bucks is not a prob at all. it goes ALL toward a tab, and you can keep that tab running for god knows how long. not long for ME, cuz i ordered other ppl drinks to celebrate my new membership.

I've had cheaper bar nites, too, but that's when i'm a) super broke or b) suckered into D.D.ing
I've also had MUCH more expensive nights. never more than forty bucks, but jesus mary and joseph, that's too much money.
i've been able to avoid that sort of well for a lil while now, tho. having the cash from tips makes going to the bars super great, cuz i just leave about twenty bucks of Easy To Tip With Money in my wallet.

oh me oh my, toaders, you will love coming to the bars with me, andrea, justin, darrell, lewis even! (he still won't drink, tho) and terica, and renee and all the other crew.
