This might have been a more useful, structured way to get information across.
1. Are you an Essential Worker?
Yes. Essential industry, essential worker. I'm exhausted all the time right now.
2. How many drinks have you had since the quarantine has started?
I don't track that ever, but drinking has increased.
3. If you have kids... Are they driving you nuts?
No kids, but doggy is even clingier than ever, which makes no sense. J works at a school, and they're shut down for the rest of the school year, so he's home all day every day with her, and yet that has made her need even more attention. WTF, dog.
4. What new hobby have you taken up during this?
I have zero time for new hobbies. There's been a lot more virtual socializing with far-flung friends who don't normally do things like Skype calls or remote movie nights.
5. How many grocery runs have you done?
None. I don't do the grocery shopping anyway, and I certainly wouldn't now. J does ours and Dad's always and especially now when he isn't working.
6. What are you spending your stimulus check on?
Nothing, it went straight into savings.
7. Do you have any special occasions that you will miss during this quarantine?
Probably a wedding later this year, definitely a couple international trips.
8. Are you keeping your housework done?
The housework I normally do, yes. J is doing all sorts of extra stuff around the house on top of the housework he normally does.
9a. What movie have you watched during this quarantine?
Uhhhh. What I can remember off the top of my head: Deadpool 1 and 2, Thunderheart, Beautiful Creatures, Hobbs & Shaw, Hunt for the Wilderpeople, the entire Jurassic Park and World series for movie night with
carlyinrome; GBBO with siblings for movie night; some episodes of Tiger King and Nailed It for law school movie night (I had no idea what Nailed It was when we started watching, and I was NOT prepared); first few episodes of Community to start my rewatch; and I have no idea what else.
9b. What are you reading right now?
Also uhhhh. I got my library card before all this happened, which was a great thing, and I was already reading a lot more this year than last year (I've already broken 60 books this year), but some of the new things I've read include: Dare Me and You Will Know Me by Megan Abbott, the Rogue River novella series by Melinda Leigh and Kendra Elliot, Defender Raptor, one of the Protection Inc.: Defenders books by Zoe Chant, It Ends With Her by Brianna Labuskes, some of the Deadpool 2012 - 2015 run, Not If I Save You First by Ally Carter, Dress Codes for Small Towns by Courtney Stevens, Imaginary Numbers by Seanan McGuire, Get It Together, Delilah by Erin Gough, The Dead Girls Club by Damien Angelica Walters, The Cheerleaders and Little Monsters by Kara Thomas, and the Callahan & McLane series by Kendra Elliot. Lots of romantic suspense, a little humor.
9c. What video game are you playing?
Well, BFF and I played some Stick of Truth, a South Park game, on Discord a couple weeks ago. Sims 4. Lots of app games on my phone.
10. What are you streaming with?
Mostly Netflix and Hulu. Little bit of Shudder.
11. Nine months from now is there any chance of you having a baby?
Fuck no.
12. What's your go-to quarantine meal?
Whatever J cooks.
13. Is this whole situation making you paranoid?
No. I pretty often want the world to end, and I don't think this will do that. (Though I didn't want it to end in a drawn-out illness anyway. I don't want people to suffer, I just want humanity gone.) It's making me exhausted and my control worn thin though.
14. Has your internet gone out on you during this time?
Nope.
15. What month do you predict this all ends?
No idea.
16. First thing you're gonna do when you get off quarantine?
Weekend road trip to see my law school BFF.
17. Where do you wish you were right now?
Beach.
18. What free-from-quarantine activity are you missing the most?
Weekend road trip to see my law school BFF.
19. Have you run out of toilet paper and hand sanitizer?
No.
20. Do you have enough food to last a month?
I'm sure we do. J is always prepared for that kind of thing.
