Do you like the music your family listens to?
My Mom doesn't listen to music anymore that I am aware of. My Dad is into everything from Lena Horne to Bette Midler to Shadowfax to 60's classic rock. I have no idea what my brother and sister listen to at the moment. They used to be into Joy Division and the Cure, but that was about 20 years ago.
Is music a big part of your life?
HUGE. I mean, seriously. No. SERIOUSLY.

As a kid I was listening to Paul Simon. Yes. At 7 or 8 years old I bought my first LP and it was Paul Simon's "Still Crazy After All These Years".
Ever had a song that makes you think of an ex?
ALL. THE. TIME. (For example, Randy's & my break up = Portishead "Roads". It just semed to always be playing when we were having the difficult divorce discussions.)

She used to dig Donovan from back in the 60's and 70's. Now she never listens to music.
She's not even interested in mine.

I have three saved, all from James Zabiela's gigs: The first time I saw him in L.A. at Giant Village, one from the Liverpool gig, and the one from the first time I saw him in Chicago at SpyBar.
How many songs do you have on your iPod?
I refuse to own an "iPod". Before I lost my awesome little Sony MP3 player, it had about 250 songs on it. (and it had a 28 hour battery life. I miss that little 'cricket' so much!)
Does the music you listen to change with your moods?
Not really. It's the other way around. When I go too long without music I go sour.

Good heavens this changes hourly. Let's not go there now.

Heh, most of my music was GIVEN to me. In this my Karma is excellent.

Sadly, no. Not really. They listen to the stuff I pimp out to them but if they were really into the same music I'd have more people here to rave with on a regular basis.

I used to play the clarinet. Now I play my CDJs.

Yea. I went with my sister and my mom to see the Monkees reunion tour and it just wasn't as interesting as I hoped it would be.

Yup. Several in fact. The biggie was "Cats" back in the 80's...saw it at the Schubert Theater in Chicago.
