Xaviers room was flooded last nite in the storm...
the carpeting is so wet in there...
They are supposed to be coming after 3:30 today to try to suck it all out...
ARGH! just what I need...
so.. I may not be on the internet alot today... I swear I am gonna scream...

I can empathize, Erika. Our last appartment flooded twice... Nothing more icky than waking up to squishy carpet... :P

oh man, it really sucks...
yesterday when the carpet guy came...it had already dried alot during the day, and he said that there wasnt enough water in the carpet anymore to suck out...so he didnt do a thing...
now today, it smells like hell, I tried to call the office and no one picked up, I think I am gonna try shampooing it myself... ARGH!

Ahhh yes...the lovely smell of dank, musty carpet..:P You might be better off renting one of those shampoo/cleaner machines & doing it yourself..We did, and I kept on using it till I was positive there wasn't a TRACE of water left..hahahah

well, we have one of those shampooers by Bissell or someone, that works really good, I am gonna use it on there, once Fred shows me how it works...
