(x-posted to my art blog)

If there's one thing that like more than blogging, it is reading blogs! I've been a fan of The Soapbar for sometime now. Omg, I love handmade soaps! They have really saved my skin as well since my menstrual acne would almost guarantee that all hell would break loose on my face. But now I've gotten it under control by using Lush products. (I'm going to have to restock soon.)

Though naturally, I'm interested in checking out the less-pricey alternatives. XD Anyway, your new soaps totally look awesome.

oh gosh! I looove Lush! That's what got me into handmade soaps in the first place. Lush started raising their prices and as much as I'd like to support my favorite store, I can't really afford it anymore so I started looking into alternatives. I still use Lush but I also like Burt's Bees (so much cheaper than Lush!! and available in more places), and also independent sellers such as the one from this lj entry :)

I'm careful about the stuff I use on my face though, I think I'll continue to use Lush or even commercial products since I'm pretty sure they've been tested and stuff. I dunno, I haven't decided to make the switch to use independent sellers for my face yet. It could either be very good or very bad!

Oh yeah, I meant trying out alternatives for body soaps. Whatever you use for your face isn't something as easy to swap out. ^^;; Thankfully, I've found I know which of their products works well on my face. But I think I need different (cheaper) body soaps.

Super cute soap!

Isn't there a finite amount of soap a girl can use? XD I shower every day and even I don't use up that much stuff.
