The urban elf is not the entirety of what I'm talking about. I know it's everywhere in modern games, but I'm also talking Lothlorien and Mirkwood. And if you're going into myth, elves tend to be blended in with peris and apsaras and gandharvas nymphs and basically all these different fantasies of "they look like us, but are totally sexy and never get old."
