Birthday and Mother's Day musings

On my birthday and Mother's day, I often contemplate the beginnings of life. I think about the day my daughter was born, what the day of my birthday was like, the day before Mother's day, and things like that. This week I was helping at the PJC to get a fundraising mailing out and I learned that Mother's day was created by Julia Ward Howe in 1870
