Okay, so I giggled through some of this, which was probably not what you were aiming for. But all the different situations became humorous, especially the falling off the balcony hypothetical.

But it is also horribly depressing, as you said. As well as horribly cynical.

I still want pool porn, btw

Thank you for checking it out! I was TOTALLY cackling all the way through pitching them off the balcony and running D over with a car. And, actually, also when I was thinking, "what's the most horrific disease D could contract?" Enjoyed that way more than a decent person should.

You know, I hadn't thought about cynical, but you're right. And it's the antithesis of romance. Hm.

Fortunately, we are safe and secure in the knowledge that none of that is actually going to happen. :)
