Was that another Monday they snuck in or did I imagine it?

It certainly sucked like a Monday. I don't mind working hard. I don't mind chaos. I don't even mind working with assholes. What I do mind is working for managers who spend so much time tearaing their hair out screaming about how busy they are that they never actually get *anything* done ( Read more... )

Yes, I do believe that we have multiple Mondays now. The spelling thing bothers me as well. I know I make errors in my posts, I am usually in a hurry. Actually I am very anal about proper spelling. The examples you gave are hilarious.

I hope the week has fewer Mondays for you. For us all really.

Yeah I'm with you on that - totally anal when it comes to spelling. Although it bites me in the ass a lot cus I am the typo queen!

Still Monday, too! *grin*

About your med students being dumbasses comment...there's a joke here that you might also have - something like "What do you call a med student who graduates last of the class?" And the answer is "Doctor"...

I will admit that a few times I have been that manager who's tearing her hair out and spending more time fretting over what all I have to do rather than starting...but sometimes, there is just so much to do that it is completely overwhelming. I have learned better ways to deal now though.

Hooray for chips! And Wednesdays, as they mean the week's half gone!

Lol! That's one of those jokes that's scary cus it's true. We were talking about the one at work earlier on and agreeing that if she's that thick we'd rather take our chances than go to her when she becomes a doctor!

Awww, but you'd do the hair tearing thing in an American accent though, so I'd find you entertaining rather than annoying!

The chips were very good. As was the doner meat. Some of which I'm going to have for tea now! Yum!

It seems as if this whole week is going to be Mondays. What a horrifying thought!!

You had me rolling in hysterical laughter with the "wondering"!!! Maybe I should go take a wonder now, so no one can find me... Mwahahahaha! ;)

Yeah wander off and wonder somewhere! And if you carry a clipboard or a sheaf of papers or even just look like you're extremely harried you can stalk around doing nothing all day and everyone will assume you're busy. Trust me, it works ; )

I'm crying now. Thanks to you.

Luckily, they are tears of hysterical laughter. I hate the wondering/wandering thing so much that I reread a fic of mine obsessivly for that distinction just recently. *grins*

But the alarmed door... that led to tears. *tears*

Poor door. Poor poor door... *snickers helplessly*

And it's not drugs, it's an utter lack of sleep on my end! Bwahahahaha.

Well glad to have brightened up your day a little! *grin*

The wandering/wondering thing drives me up the wall too. But not as much as the your/you're thing...that one makes my teeth itch.

And who needs drugs when you can be like this just from being up til 4am every night? Beats having to meet some black guy in a hat in a dodgy part of town... *grin*

You know an awful lot about dodgy parts of town and men in black hats here. You aren't holding out on me here, are you?

I was thinking of here, but it doesn't take a great leap to imagine it there too. And nope, not holding out. Although I did think of you this morning when I was eating a peach!
