It's nice to have closure on a challenge, not to mention gratifying. I also like seeing Sims I recognize around the neighborhood (everyone's, not yours or mine specifically). No easy answers regarding how to deal with them post-challenge if you don't have the time or inclination to continue playing them in a long- running neighborhood.
Anyway, I'm glad you played the Nickel and Dimed! It's something I've always been interested in trying. One of these days, I'm sure!
I like closure too. I remember being a child and having a baby sitter tell us fairy tales to get us to go to sleep. The fairy tales always ended "And they got married and they lived happily ever after." I would always ask "And *then* what happened?" (This completely flummoxed the babysitter.) There is a particular Native American group (I forget which one) whose stories all end "And they lived happily to be very, very old, and they died hand-in-hand in their sleep at the same time, surrounded by their grandchildren." I think that's a much more satisfying ending myself. Well, obviously, because that's more or less what I used here
