Take it all outside... move the plate enough so that it can get out and leave it to escape. OR just add water.

thats pish! my boyfriend gets his parents to remove spiders from his room. he= more scared than me.

Ha ha! I might try and move the bowl into the spare room.

The worst bit will be if I do take the top off and there's no spider in there.
I won't be able to sleep for ages.

I'm itching all over just thinking about it uggg.

This is horrible, but if you leave the bowl over the spider, it will probably die within the day and then it can just be hoovered up!

I have on the odd occasion done this myself.

Yes i'm a bad person :) - But i fucking hate spiders.
