Today is just one of those days where I have to keep reminding myself that I do love people and shouldn't feel like kicking some heads in.
People need to learn to stop complaining (If you are reading this and think I am referring to you...you are most likely wrong. I gotten messages of said complaints that didn't please me >>). If you think something is a bad idea, thats great! You don't have to wish horribly for the idea to be bad for the others. What the fuck is wrong with you? If some people want to go ice skating the day after Christmas, who are you to thwart them from their plan? You don't need to convince anyone of your personal feeling. If everyone thought like you, then NO ONE would be at Bryant Park that day. Then it would just be stupid. I'd rather try than not. And besides it's not like this is the ONLY event for our group. I only wanted to get one event done before the year is over, that's all. You can totally makes plans for the next one when it comes up. But yet you bitch about this one as if it's the last fucking event we will have...How retarded are you??? D<
I remember there was a similar complaint about Hetalia Day. The difference was the complaint about it being chaotic due to the amount of people who were coming. The results of Hetalia Day showed that they were wrong.
I have faith in our group. They were able to be civilized while still having fun on Hetalia Day and I can not ask for a better NYC Hetalia Fandom.
The issue now is a little different. Some are concerned with the busy-ling people on the day after Christmas. This is definitely true, however there are people still willing to come despite this fact. I think most will be weeded out because they will be scared to venture out on the day after Christmas or some will be on vacation. So our group of 200+ dwindles to about 30-50 people. We have dealt with more before. I wish to be with everyone. But our group is so big now that it seems to be hard to get all of us together more than once a year. :(
There will be private or limited guest events for this reason as well. Winter is always hard to get so many people together anyway.
And Finally, people are hatin' on me just because I made the date on the 26th. Really? Well, I just put up a vote on two dates since people kept bitching at me. If the 26th is such a bad fucking idea, THEN WHY IS IT WINNING IN THE VOTE FOR THE DATE? ...Actually both dates are pretty much neck and neck. But still, this means that the 26th is just as doable as the 19th for most. Therefore, it wasn't such a bad idea to plan for it. The only thing people will tell me is the crowd issue. I have dealt with crowds before and I have faith in the NYC Hetalia Fandom so...I will go out there with my head held high! FUCK YOU, HATERS! ;D
That concludes my rant. I am happy people are now responding better than before. I just wish they thought better the first time they spoke to me. I wouldn't have gotten so stressed...Geez, people! XD You all suck, but I love you all anyway!
