Incompetent online billpaying services

I just found out that Easy Pay (a service used by Allegheny Power to pay online bills) merged with My Check Free and instead of being able to pay one day in advance, I have to do it three days in advance. Easy Pay was the company that would allow you to pay a day in advance versus three. I wil probably have to pay a late fee associated with their

you should mail a copy of your late fee to the company and get them to reimburse you for it.
