I hope the move leads to a job where they appreciate you, and that you love your new place. (And maybe when things become more tranquil you will feel like writing too...)

We really are going to close the border this time you know! :P All the best for Oxford, hope the new job is a good 'un. Suspect work will be taking me down to Oxford again in the not too distant future so hope to catch up then if I don't see you before you go.

lots of good luck for the new job and the new home.Oxford is not without its snags but it is a good place to live in many ways.
