What about Harris' Law: Arguing on the internet is like masturbation: people might make fun of it, but it is inevitable, and natural, so the thing to do is make sure you don't make anyone watch who doesn't want to, and try not to ruin your keyboard.
The pleasure of trolling will always be offset by the horror of discovering that the most brilliant and hilarious trolls are actually not trolls at all.

I thought I would have to criticize his atrocious punctuation and CAPS LOCK EMPHASIS in order to get him to act much crazier than he initially seemed - but no, he just gave it up.
At that point it stopped being amusing and became frightening.
