I can now connect my Wii to the internet.

And after playing Mario Cart Wii online and watching my initial rating of 5000vp drop to somewhere around 4200vp in a few short hours, I think I can safely say: I really suck at that game.

Got back from New Orleans last night at 11:00 or so, and came in to work bright and early this morning to an absolute crudload of backlogged products to push through.

I've been so busy I pushed it from my mind- and I still need to pack. We're heading to New Orleans tomorrow for a few days. It's supposed to be 80 degrees with localized thunderstorms every day we're there. Should be an interesting trip :)

I've got to lay off the home improvements a bit- the budget can't handle it. At least I've got all the paint we need to finish the downstairs. I'm going to do the kitchen this weekend (meaning I've got to clear off the countertops and the fridge- and we've got a lot of junk on both.) You never really realize how much stuff you have until you shove it into a corner so you can paint. I can't even remember what my last entry was, but now I've been married almost 6 months; it certainly doesn't feel like it. My wife's downstairs, reading (I just got a new library card, and she renewed hers); I should probably join her at some point. Things are going well, and my "workshop"'s really nice. Almost... The wedding's on a Saturday, but two weeks from today my best man gets in town, we pick up the tuxedos, and head off on the bachelor party. So it's major stress/panic time- especially for Debbie, who is again in charge of the Newark Days Kid's Parade. Which is tonight- so that will be a lot of stress off her shoulders once that's done.
