I saw that name changing thing a while ago. I for one welcome our new overlords. But I want to know who's going to pay for all those comms renaming tokens so that ebandslashmania and ebandom_primers can continue operating. And part of me is a little sad it's not going to be sixdegreesofpetewentzdickslashmania.

I'd heard about the name-change thing, but... god. The wiki page, completely with her "the lurkers use ebandom in email!" claim, takes the whole thing to new heights of insanity.

Oh, god, I didn't know she had a history of sockpuppets. Did you seen the comment above detailing the paper she "co-wrote" with one of her pseuds? Someone really needs to do a bad-pennyish expose on the many, many ways she is insane.

Snacky, last night, was reminding of when she would post her "historical analysis" to FCA-L, and anyone who'd actually been there for what she's talking about would detail the 90,000 things she got wrong.

I still remember her from then too, and it has not gotten better in any way. Still every interaction is akin to slamming your head into a wall.

It's becoming obvious what kind of person she is, even to those of us who are not into bandom. Her credibility with me is nil.

I'm still very sorry for my metafandom post that started the whole thing. I just had a question. I had no idea it would become all...kerfluffley.

I've since decided to stay out of meta about what my porn should be called and just stick to writing it. Much more fun.

What was your metafandom post that started the whole thing? I don't follow that comm terribly closely -- it's bad for my blood pressure :-)

I flocked it after everything blew up, but basically I just asked if bandslash as a term had come to mean exclusively the "bandom" bands, and, if so, what those of us who write RPS about other bands should call the type of slash we write. I'm not entirely sure how it got off into a discussion of the term bandom and ebandom and whatever else. I just decided after that I was done with any sort of meta. I mean, I didn't even care that much in the first place.

1. Gerard say "you can stand under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh!" because he says the world is a BIG TENT and even people with sketchy takes on reality should be allowed to frolic free from anti-depressants and homophobia!
2. He still uses the term bandom when he posts his sketches of Patrick as a lion to bandom_sketches.

I feel sorry for whoever that person was who tried to engage the crazy. I mean, "Hey, y'all missed the Hushies and the Cobra!" it's sort of cute, honestly, but THOSE PEOPLE ARE FUCKING NUTS DON'T APPROACH THEM.

I like how everything these people say comes back to "the acafen are meanies, shuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!" Whatever, losers.
