Snapped at a taco stand in Los Feliz on Saturday:
This made me happy. As did all the mannequins in the boutique windows with Obama t-shirts, and the huge display of Obama shirts and "No on Prop 8" signs in the window of Skylight Books, and the "Once you go Barack, you never go back" and "Barack is beautiful" t-shirts the waiters at Fred 62 were wearing.
All that being said, oh, my GOD, I am so ready for this fucking election to be over. Physical therapy douchebag (who is about my age, so shut the fuck up about retiring to begin with) was bitching and moaning about how if Obama wins he'll never be able to retire, and I said, "Have you looked at the economy with a Republican in the white house?" And he started ranting about how it's all Clinton's fault and it's a proven fact that recessions take at least 12 years to develop and it isn't Bush's fault that he couldn't fix all the damage Clinton caused and I wanted to punch him in his smarmy, fat, stupid face. Asshole.
I had one of my insane "Must. Do. This. Now" moments about cleaning yesterday... either we are ushering in a new era, for which I want a shiny clean apartment, or I am going to be trying really hard not to slit my wrists, and a shiny clean apartment at least won't contribute to my depression. So Snoo and I spent the whole day vacuuming and scrubbing and taking things apart and cleaning them and putting them back together, and I'm not any less terrified (and won't be, unless and until McCain concedes), but I at least have spotless apartment to be terrified in. Yay?
In the meantime, I desperately need distraction. Have there been any good Sam/Dean or J2 stories/picspams/vids/fan encounters/whatever posted recently? *looks at you all hopefully*
