Ahahah, you should check out their song Year 3000. It is so WHOLESOME Eso. It talks about Star Wars, and like... coming home from school during lunch, and outselling Kelly Clarkson. I was trying to describe it to a friend, "They're so... so..." "Disney?" she supplied ( ... )

I, um. Kinda sorta might be listening to "A Little Bit Longer" on repeat. Nick is just so EARNEST! And you know Joe gets all choked up every time he hears it because ZOMG HIS BABY BROTHER ALMOST DIED.

Joe is entirely and unabashedly intent making sure Nick knows that Joe really, for serious, totally loves him, and Nick is like, "Yeah, bro, I know. Alright, alright, I'm hugging you back. Can we move on?" And then adding reeeeeally quietly, "Love you, too." And that's the extent of it. It's kind of a nice little antidote to the full-on, world-ending angst, and sometimes super dirty-sexy vibe of SPN.

*dies* Oh, god, that's just... yes. So true. And funny. And perfect. And yeah, the break from the world-ending angst is lovely, although... man. If you project forward at ALL with this relationship, the opportunities for angst are pretty epic. Though if they keep touring and sharing rooms for the next several years, I guess it won't be a problem...

I looooooove how earnest A Little Bit Longer is. My god. It's a song about how no one can really know what you're feeling. Even though they really want to. Even Nick's teenage angst is precious. Seriously. The only time I've ever seen Joe look at all adult is when he's talking about Nick's diabetes. It's awesome.

And you know, if someone is actually ADDRESSING the fact that they're uber Christian might lead to a lot of internal conflict. But beyond that, I don't believe Nick when he says he wants to get married. He reminds me too much of a young Justin Timberlake. Nick will get married only when he ( ... )

The third one - Kevin I think - doesnt seem to fit very well - kinda makes my heart sore for him :( Is he also a brother?

They're all brothers, yeah. And yeah, he definitely doesn't seem as close to either of the other two as they are to each other, but... I don't know. There's just this weird sort of fetishizing him being left out in the fandom, and a) people seem to play it up way more than reality supports and b) even if he really was left out and miserable all the time, why would that be a squee point?

I don't know. People confuse me.

I so do. Clearly, in that I have talked more in capslock in the last week than in the previous two years :-)

I refuse to stop feeling superior to you over NSync, though :-)
