It had been a while since the kit had been taken. Dilandau sighed as he moved about the enclosure following the habit of a patrol. The sound of footsteps in the hall had the beast perking his ears. What was going on now?

The door to the enclosure opened, and the doctor that had come in previously, to give them Zeke, returned, a harness and leash in his hand.

"Hey, boy," he greeted, cheer in his quiet voice.

The major blinked and trotted forward. What did they want? He was more curious than wary today due to utter boredom.

Surprised, Doc backed up a bit, but when Dilandau didn't attack or take up a threatening stance, he stepped forward again, hands out in plain sight to show he wasn't a threat.

"Wanna go see your Edward today?"

He caught the /your/ and /Edward/, that was all he needed to hear. Dilandau normaly wouldn't do this, but he plopped down right before the doctor. Like a good boy he wagged his tail and perked his aears as he chirped cheerfully. They better not be lying or he'd maul them and maybe steal their foot pelts.( Even the ones that smelled kinda funny.)

Fighter had been pacing back and forth at the front of the enclosure since the humans had taken Dilandau. The other two kits were amusing themselves by pouncing each other from various hiding places, and Ter was glancing at them every so often to make sure they were alright. They should be bringing his mates back soon. If they didn't, Ter was good and ready to burn his way out of the enclosure to reach them and the third kit. A little growl left his mouth, and he switched his tail impatiently.

It was then that the door to his enclosure creaked open, and Doc's head popped in, grinning.

"Hey, there, big guy. Brought one of your Edwards back," he said, guiding Dilandau back through the door by his leash, stepping inside and closing the door after them.

Dilandau trotted back into the pen with a soft sigh. He made a beeline for Ter and latched onto him. < "He's alive but he's missing an arm. The automail's gone." >

Ter returned the hug with gusto. ["He's okay otherwise?"] The most important thing was that Cayl was alive. They could deal with anything else.
