I wrote this in a letter to my friend Hilary (you'll get it soon!) and I still wonder.

Yay! I can't wait :D

It also bothers me how we can never come anywhere near really seeing other countries as equal, or national sovereignty as of value for anyone except "first world"/Western countries.

I wish McCain and Palin would define "victory" and "honor," because apparently we should keep letting people die in Iraq so we can come home with them.

He also needs to define "defeat," because shifting responsibility and saving lives is defeat?

And what is our goal in Iraq, anyway? Locate WMDS (try again), overthrow Saddam Hussein (check), instate democracy (check), alienate our alies (check)... what's next?

I printed it out today (I'm not cool and handwrite things) and I'll mail it soon.
