I try to make sure every bite of cupcake has the same cake to frosting ratio. It can get complicated.

Depends on the cake, and the frosting. If the frosting is of at all decent quality, then this is also my method.

Lord, I love frosting. I can't do this, though, because I have to have icing on every bite if possible! :)
