05. Video [Malice'd!]

[And yet another clang. But this time, a purposeful one. Jin is throwing the communicator against the wall this time. As it switches to video, not much can be heard or seen save for Jin’s hurried footsteps around the room]

--there isn’t-

[And then there it is. A glimpse of a shove, a woman’s outraged cry, things being knocked left and right.

[Perhaps this wasn't the best idea, to be out on his own, even armed and able to fight or not, even though he was trying to be stealthy and avoid the notice of as many monsters as he could. But Tatsuya was very good at doing incredibly stupid shit.]

[Bad idea or no, it was too late to turn back now, wasn't it? Jin, slithered past a few building, overturning a few crumbled things here and there with a loud crash.]

[that noise, like scales on the pavement. Tatsuya draws his sword as silently as he can and ducks further into shadow, trying to listen for where it was coming from in relation to his position. Better to be ready to fight then to be surprised.]

[Jin moves closer, faster than anyone would think for a creature his size. Round a corner here, cut across the rubble there and--

There he stands, out in open for anyone nearby to see. A hiss escapes the large, reptilian mouth as he looks everywhich way.

[that is a very fast monster. and from the looks of it, a very dangerous one. It didn't seem to see him yet, but that could change at any time. Might as well do something useful and try to get rid of it before it could try to eat anyone.

Maybe it was a stupid idea to not run away, but Tatsuya makes the most of it by swiftly stepping out of shadow and trying to stab it before it realized he was there.]

[A direct hit! An unearthly shriek escapes Jin as he's stabbed, blood pouring out rapidly. He turns around, not even disloding the sword from his side before he swoops down to attack the source of his pain.]

[Dammit, that monster was fast. Tatsuya's hands tighten on the hilt of his sword as he tries to dodge back and avoid the attack, pulling it with him]

[The sword leaving his scaly body is a relief, but now the blood is gushing everywhere. He pays no mind to it though as he leans down and towards Tatsuya, ready to knock him away with his head]

[shit, trying to get out of the way...and just a touch too slow, but a touch is all it needs, and he's knocked aside and sent sprawling. Tatsuya doesn't *remain* there for long, as he rolls back to his feet. yeah, he's definitely wishing he had his Persona right now.]

[Jin wastes no time because the minute Tatsuya is back on his feet, there he is ready to knock him back down. This time, he swings his tail around aiming to knock Tatsuya right into that conveniantly near tree]

[And he'll just be pinning Tatsuya to the tree. Not too hard, but you know--certainly not in a pleasant way]

[you didn't pin my hands. this is a bad mistake, as I am now going to stab you. again. maybe you'll let go now.]

[A grave error realized a little too late. The stabbing makes him let go right away, dropping Tatsuya to the ground. He slithers away now, pain shooting up his tail because of the sword still lodged in.

He flails his tail somewhat, trying to shake it out. After a few tries, it goes out and flying off to the side.]
