So, all you have to do as you stumble back to your apartment is follow the Citgo Sign.

Conclusion: Tokyo is exactly like Boston.

Note however that Boston has ONE citgo sign - in opposed to Tokyo's 3 million. Honestly, the only landmarks you can identify from anywhere in the city (this part of the city anyway) are the Roppongi Hills tower and the Tokyo Tower
