In the short time I’ve owned one a dozen or so people have asked me about buying a DSLR. I kept writing these diatribes, again and again, so I thought I'd finally consolidate them into one epic rant. Since Livejournal is a convenient place to post/link to, I'll just throw it up here. So get ready to be bored to death as I demonstrate the extent
