More than Meets the Eye!
So last Thursday, B and I went and saw a preshowing of the new Transformers movie. I must say, it's the best movie I've seen so far this summer (I've seen Pirates, Spider-man, and Fantastic Four). It's for the Legacy format, which is one of the broader formats in MTG (in fact, the 2nd most broad), so some of the cards are pretty pricey. Tired...
So I'm writing this entry from the airport as I wait for my flight to Midland/Odessa this morning. I'll be back in the evening, but man I'm tired. This is probably because I went to bed at 1 am and got up at 4 am for my flight. Gotta remind myself not to stay out too late, but oh well, it'll be the weekend once I make it through today. -
Update
So I figured I'd update my journal, since it's been about a week.
My dad went on a business trip to Paris earleir this week, he should be back tomorrow. He was scheduled to leave on the 13th for Oman, but I'm not sure that'll be happening now given the whole cyclone thing going on over there.

Sucks!
So this weekend, I received an email alert from Bank of America telling me that there was some suspicious activity on my check card. I take a look at my account online and see that I'm at.... -$688.02!
Apparently, someone had gotten a hold of my check card number and charged a bunch of shit to my account at Wal-Mart and Home Depot. Luckily, Bank ( Read more... ) -
Defensive Driving
So I'm at home today, doing my defensive driving for work (my job requires those of us who drive a lot to take defensive driving once per year) and man it's damn boring. Yes, it's convenient to have these online courses available, but it's hell waiting 20 min since you burned through the 50 min. section and it won't let you on to the next part. ( Read more... ) -

Nostalgia
So I've been in a weird nostalgic mood recently, looking up my old high school's website, emailing old friends to see how things were going.
Just weird to think how all this time passes by but you never really realize it until you stop to take a break and look back at it all.
