[Terra believes in Sonic, is certain that he'll emerge from the battle just fine...and yet, she can't remain still. Homework, cooking, training...all of that is attempted half-heartedly, but nothing seems to be a sufficient distraction

[Have a silent stalker, Terra. He's just hanging out on the roofs of buildings, keeping an eye on her. It's a mixture between wanting to talk to her and feeling like, somehow, he's protecting her. Or something like that. It's better than brooding alone, at least.]

[Terra doesn't look up, at least not right away. Though she has thought to do so ever since meeting Kurt, her mind is a bit too muddled to actively think about the roofs. She ignores the rain and continues for a stretch.

About halfway through her intended route, Terra pauses and glances around uncertainly. She doesn't hear anything out of the ordinary, but that doesn't reassure her. Kefka's stay in Luceti taught her to be paranoid, and while some of that vanished with him, enough lingers.]

[He's been following her, mostly looking for an opportunity to find her without people around. He's not trying too hard to conceal himself, though. She'll probably see him crawling on all fours against the wall of one of the community buildings, totally doing the Spider-Man thing. But when she stops, he does too.]

[That tension vanishes upon seeing him, though now she feels a bit foolish for that bout of paranoia. She pauses for a moment, then teleports to the nearest roof. Patrolling can wait a bit.]

[Of course Shadow is still out wandering despite the weather, Interceptor at his side. Neither of them are very hurried, they actually don't mind this. Rain is terrible for camping in though, so he's actually headed back into town and toward his apartment at the moment.]

[Terra is leaning against the railing of a bridge, staring at the river without really noticing it. The sound of canine footsteps causes her to lift her head and glance over.]

[Shadow slows when he notices her and then approaches. Interceptor sniffs the air a little bit, but is satisfied no strangers are lurking about.]

[Terra waits for him to approach, then nods to him and his companion.]

Hello, Shadow...and Interceptor.

Are you patrolling, too?

[Brooke is sitting just outside of community building four, not doing anything at the moment but seeking a small change in scenery compared to being indoors either in her room or at the clinic. She looks up whenever anyone passes by, but doesn't make any real effort to speak to anyone; she knows it's late, that people are tired and probably making their way back to their respective homes for the evening, and so on.

When Terra passes by, however, is a different story. The sword carried with her makes it fairly obvious that someone is busy making rounds, and Brooke is wondering if-all recent events aside-things are going well enough here in the village.]

Quiet night, huh?

[The voice rouses Terra out of her jumbled thoughts, and she glances over with a slightly sheepish air about her. She nods, pausing her stride.]

It seems that way. I thought it might be otherwise, considering, but...I guess I'm wrong.

[The girl's expression shifts to a slightly-worried one.] If you asked me, I'd almost say it's too quiet. Always makes me think something's going to happen, you know?

[Terra's quick to nod at that, oddly a little relieved. If such thoughts are paranoid, at least she's not alone in them.]

I didn't want to say it, for fear of making other people nervous, but you could be right. The moments just before something really big happens always seem to be the calmest.

...I'm Terra, by the way.

[ Ramza is more than a little restless. Although he cannot call himself a friend of anyone who was sent into battle, the mere idea of people subjected to danger and violence weighs heavily on his heart. In the end, he finds himself taking a good, long walk to clear his mind.

It is during that, that he finds himself noticing Terra, very poorly equipped for this weather from his standpoint. He's both curious and cautious as he makes his way closer to her. ]

Milady, pardon me if I'm intruding into something none of my concern, but... are you well? 'Tis not a weather to travel in so lightly.

[ He, himself, has a hooded cloak on. A perfect state of dress for this kind of weather, as far as he's concerned. ]

[A little startled, Terra glances over as she snaps out of her reverie.]

What?

[She glances down at her short dress and tights for a moment, then back up a little sheepishly.]

Oh. I hadn't been paying attention to the weather. I suppose it is a little chilly, now that I think about it....

[ A little chilly, huh... well, he cannot blame anyone for losing themselves in thought this week. ]

If you would like, I could lend you my cloak till you find something warmer.

[She stares in surprise at that, for a moment, then realize she ought to say something.]

Thank you, sir. But--won't you be cold, then?
