Would anyone care to train with me? I'll be at the battle dome for a while, and I'm open to new scenarios.

[Terra is there for a good portion of the morning, revisiting familiar sites from home, though occasionally she will switch to a different scenario, trying out places she visited with friends. She can also be found between bouts of training

Battle dome? What's that, some kind of fight club?

[Terra glances over.]

Hm? Oh, no. Not really. It's a place where you can find simulated monsters and the like though. And all sorts of backgrounds can be created, too.

So it's a computer-simulated fighting arena... pretty much a video game? Is that what people do here for entertainment?

[Entertainment-wise, Mulder has noticed a severe lack of adult video stores. This makes him a sad Mulder. :( But he supposes virtual reality can be fun, as long as the simulaitons aren't literally trying to kill people like that one he investigated.]

Some people--though I see it less as entertainment and more as training. I can't afford to become rusty, not here....

[Kain catches Terra when she's coming out of one of those shops and approaches.]

Terra...

[He goes right toward her, as if he's a little more comfortable and at ease around her than usual.]

[Terra...pauses and stares.]

...Kain?

[Then she perks up, realizing that he is actually talking.]

Oh! You got that penalty removed! I'm so happy for you!

Penalty... Oh... No, I've not noticed a change, although I've learned to cope with it. What made you think otherwise?

Well, you can talk. I haven't heard you do that...um, ever? You said it happened to you because you died.

[Rimmer has somehow inadvertently ended up in the Battle Dome, right in the middle of one of Terra's training sessions.]

[...Excuse him, he'll be over here cowering from whatever Terra is fighting.]

[Terra's a bit busy fighting undead to notice the presence of another right away. Distracted with her opponents, she's busy firing off Holy after Holy missile at them.]

[Oh smeg oh smeg, SMEEEEEG there's too much exploding going on. Rimmer watches intently and tries to back away, nearly walking right into the path of the undead.]

Don't come any closer, miladdo!

Huh?

[Terra turns, surprised...and nearly gets knocked over by a zombie as a result.]

[While Terra is shopping, she may notice an android in one of the stores, somehow placed in among the items.]

How depressing...

[The android gives her pause, as much for what it says as its existence.]

[Her expression is sympathetic enough, even though she's a little baffled.]

I know you must be new, but it's not that bad here. Really.

[In one of the shops a young man approaches and looks at her curiously...]

Whoa! Hey, that must've taken a lot of hair dye.

[Terra glances around...then realizes that the young man is probably speaking to her.]

...what?

Your hair. How'd you get it so green?

[esper_flight]

Um...I didn't. I was born this way.

[She shrugs, not entirely used to such questions, but it's not as though she's never received them before.]
