What, we used to sing it every night. It's the greatest goodnight song ever. You can even do a little dance to it. And add "doodley doos!"

fire & rain, the story I have heard again and again from multiple sources, is the story of james taylor getting out of a mental hospital and learning that his close friend had committed suicide. "the plans they made put an end to you"

now, I used to sing Oh My Darlin Clementine to liam, and also leonard cohen's Hallelujah... you are my sunshine, mockingbird, severl littel old fashioned lullabyes from this waldorf kindergarten cd I used to have... oh and Goodnight Irene, I sang that a lot!
